As an artist who worked with all the resins available on the market, I was determined that there must be a solution to the problems I was experiencing from even the "best" and most expensive epoxy resin products on the market. The difficulty to achieve uniform surfaces was my initial concern, but then I realized in the time I was spending attempting to get their resin to cooperate without making it extremely thick, that I was constantly getting pounding headaches from their formula to the point that I had to leave the room within 5 minutes of pouring it or else I'd be on another planet!
So I decided to formulate a new resin that makes the whole process much easier and less frustrating, and thus the idea for Creation Genie was born. The biggest concern was the leveling, but in the process we developed a resin that is exceptionally bubble resistant, refracts light elegantly, has low fumes, a long working time, and is thin enough to use as a medium and to fill in tiny holes without having to create massive crators in your work to make up for the super thick formula of other epoxy resins. As you can see in the picture above, this is a comparison of our resin to the aforementioned best resin for art making (all artists know which brand I'm referring to).
The best part was that we developed a resin that also does not require a torch! If you pour the resin in less the 1/4-1/2 inch deep layers in 80 degrees fahrenheit, or you place the resin in a warm water bath before using, you will have a piece that is 95% bubble free. A torch can help if you go thicker than 1/4 inch to remove a few stray bubbles. We look forward to hearing your experience with our new resin!
